CASTLE HILL OFFERS FULL BEVERAGE SERVICE
Castle Hill offers you three types of bar service. Bar services include certified TiPS bartenders. Glassware is not provided by Castle Hill. The rental of glassware can be coordinated through the exclusive caterer. Please discuss your signature cocktail requests with our Castle Hill Event Manager.
Bar deposits are due thirty days prior to the event date. Any type of hosted bar/beverage service is billed on consumption and we collect in advance an estimated bar deposit as follows:
- Hosted Full Bar requires a $30 per person deposit.
- Hosted Beer and Wine Bar requires a $30 per person deposit
- Hosted Bar (1 hour), Tableside Wine Service, then Cash Bar requires a $30 per person deposit.
- Hosted Bar (1 hour), the a Cash Bar requires a $15 per person deposit.
- Cash Bar with Tableside Wine Service or Champagne Service requires a $15 per person deposit.
BAR DESCRIPTIONS
- Hosted Full Bar includes liquor, beer, wine, champagne, soft drinks, juices, mixers, vermouth and garnishes. This service also includes tableside wine service for your guests.
- Hosted Beer & Wine Service includes a selection of four beers and four wines, soft drinks and juices. Tableside wine service is also included for your guests.
- Cash Bar includes your choice of full bar or beer & wine bar only. Soft drinks and juices will also be available at the bar. Your guests will pay for their choice of beverage. You do have an option to add tableside wine or champagne service for your guests.
Based on final guest count, the following service charges are applied:
Under 100 people / $325; 101-125 people / $400; 126-150 people / $450; 151-175 people / $550; 176-200 people / $600; 201-225 people / $675; 226-250 people / $750.
Credits, if applicable, will be refunded within 10 business days of event.
Bartenders will have tip tray only on cash bars.
All beverage selections must be placed with the Event Manager 30 days prior to event. Prices and brand availability subject to change.
BEVERAGE SERVICE POLICIES
Castle Hill makes every effort to ensure the comfort and safety of its clients and guests. Therefore, Castle Hill strictly adheres to the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts regarding alcoholic beverage service. The following policies are enforced at Castle Hill at all times that liquor is served, including events at which transportation is provided for clients and their guests:
- Alcoholic beverages may not be brought onto the property. Alcohol must be served by Castle Hill staff.
- All persons requesting alcoholic beverages must present positive proof of age when asked by a bartender, service person, manager, or security officer. A valid driver's license or picture ID with proof of age must be presented.
- Alcoholic beverages may be consumed in moderate amounts only. Excessive consumption of such beverages and/or intoxication is strictly prohibited.
- Only single portion drinks, containing a maximum of two liquors, will be served.
- Persons showing signs of intoxication or persons known to be drinking prior to their arrival at Castle Hill will not be served liquor.
- Bartenders, service personnel, and mangers may refuse alcoholic beverage service to any guest.
- Parents or relatives may not purchase or provide alcoholic beverages to underage guests.
- Alcoholic beverage service at Castle Hill is limited to a maximum of 4½ hours and will be discontinued one-half hour prior to the scheduled event end. Non-alcoholic beverages will be served until the planned or extended end time of the rental.
- If the ceremony is held at Castle Hill, alcoholic beverage services begin after the ceremony.
- Caterers are required to serve coffee until the end of the rental period.
- When alcoholic beverages are being served, food must be provided for guests at all times.
- Alcoholic beverage service may be discontinued at any time during the rental period at the discretion of the Event Manager. Reasons for discontinuation may include the opinion that guests are consuming and/or providing liquor from a source other than Castle Hill, are overindulging, and/or in the possession of illegal substances.
All Event Managers and beverage service personnel at Castle Hill have been trained to judge the sobriety of guests. Should the Event Manager ask for your assistance in determining the demeanor of a guest, please understand that he/she is concerned with the safety of all your guests.
